| The National
Union of Liberal Clubs is an organisation that is run to provide member
clubs with vital information for the successful daily running of each
club.
At present the union is made up of 5 different geographic areas; Huddersfield, Lancashire, East Midlands, West Midlands, South WestDelegates elected from each of the local federations meet approx. 2 to 3 months to discuss any new laws or legislation's passed. Within these meeting other issues affecting the local area and running of local clubs are discussed and advice is given along with finding ways of raising funds to help finance the clubs. A further role that the union takes on is representation at CORCA (Committee of Registered Clubs' Associations) currently Mr R Ockold (West Midlands). The union has also formed partnerships with an solicitors Sydney Mitchell. The Annual
General Meeting (AGM) is held every June, with the venue being moved to
different clubs up and down the country. Over the last few years it has
been a poor time for clubs with numerous amount closing down, because
of this we would be delighted to welcome any Liberal club (who are not
currently members) to attend one of these meetings or contact a member
of the committee.Thank you
