| 22 members ad 1 guest attended the clubs August outing to Roswell pits (main pit) on 15/08/10. The fish appear to have been fairly well spread out with fortunes being mixed. However yet another impressive display saw Danny Cruse easily take another victory (all puns deliberately avoided). |
Kieran Panchal and Harry Law showed the adults the way last Tuesday by netting six carp to 9lbs on pineapple boilies. Plenty of cruician carp and skimmers in nets to 20lbs coming on the pole to corn or pellet over small balls of groundbait. Carp to 10 lbs on meat or boilies to rushes, and roack on waggler in middle of lake. The trick to keep them coming is to feed a couple of maggot or caster every cast. Good tench still coming from the river above and below Burntmill lock, also some good bream, worm or bread accounting for these, on the pole. Punched bread catching roach and small hybrids on all sections. Several pike from the wierpool at riverway, and some good dace in backstream. Best fishes--Worzel. |
